Packets you can use today

One kit to get a homeowner to list the yard and submit an RFP. One kit to get a contractor through verification and onto the bid list.

Homeowner kit

List your address. Submit an RFP.

Free. You do not have to disclose a budget. Street stays hidden from contractors until you say so.

What we ask — the same questions local pool companies use to quote

  1. 01New pool or remodel?
  2. 02Gunite, fiberglass, or vinyl — and about what size?
  3. 03Depth: typical 3–6, or a deeper end?
  4. 04Shape, spa, interior finish, waterline tile?
  5. 05Equipment: variable-speed pump, salt, heater, lights, automation, cover?
  6. 06Deck type and roughly how many square feet?
  7. 07Screen enclosure now, later, or none?
  8. 08Waterfall or sheer descent?
  9. 09Can equipment get to the backyard? Side-yard width?
  10. 10HOA? Survey on file?
  11. 11Photos of the yard. Street stays hidden until you authorize contact.

Not sure what to ask for? Do the picture look session first. Copy you can send: “Put the backyard on PoolBid. One form. Comparable bids from vetted South Florida pool companies. Then you award.”

Contractor packet

Finish the profile. Start bidding.

Have these on the desk. Submit once. A person reviews. Then you get alerts when an RFP hits your county.

Have ready

  • Florida CPC (or pool-scope license) number and expiration
  • General liability certificate
  • Workers’ compensation or exemption
  • Counties and ZIPs you actually build in
  • Typical project size and whether you have open capacity
  • Company phone, email, and website
  1. 01 Create the account
  2. 02 Complete the setup form (license, insurance, service area)
  3. 03 Wait for PoolBid review — a typed license number does not auto-verify
  4. 04 Bid invited RFPs. Pay 5% only if you win
Open contractor packet

Signed-in contractors land on the packet: setup form, credential checklist, and lookbook upload. Public visitors are asked to log in first.

Ready when you are.
