For contractors · Now servicing Palm Beach County
Compete for real pool projects. Pay only if you win.
PoolBid is not a lead mill. You see a standardized RFP, a city and ZIP, and photos — not a raw homeowner phone number. Homeowners are PoolBid clients. Bidding does not let you take them off-platform. Join free. Bid free. 5% if you are awarded.
The job is already specified
Homeowners complete one wizard. You bid a written scope — included, excluded, and what you still have to verify on site. Less guessing. Fewer wasted site visits on mismatched work.
The homeowner is not your lead
PoolBid introduced them. Street, phone, and email stay hidden until they award you. You may not take the job off-platform after you bid. If you do, the success fee is still owed.
Win on more than being cheapest
Homeowners see rating, warranty, schedule, and an explainable score. The lowest bid does not automatically win. Complete scope still matters.
How a contractor uses PoolBid
01
Register the company
Name, DBA, license number, insurance certificate, years in business, crew size, typical project value, and the ZIPs or counties you actually serve. Portfolio photos welcome.

License and insurance come next in setup. A typed number does not auto-verify.

02
Wait for a human to verify
Typing a Florida license number does not make you Verified. An admin reviews documents and awards badges. The decision is logged.
03
Review the RFP and bid
You see municipality, ZIP, and scope — not the street or the homeowner’s phone — until they authorize contact. Submit base price, options, dates, warranty, payment schedule, assumptions, and exclusions. Attach your proposal PDF.
04
Compete in the auction if they start one
You may only lower your bid. Rank and time remaining stay on screen. We will not push you below a floor you set. If you win, the 5% success fee is the only platform charge.

“I listed the yard once. Three companies bid the same pool. I could actually compare the numbers.”

Help us write a bid-ready RFP
Homeowners do not know every question you ask on a first visit. Send the ones that actually change your number. Filling this out does not enroll your company as a member.
