Homeowner Terms

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. PoolBid does not inspect the property. Awarding a project creates a construction relationship between you and the selected contractor, not with PoolBid as builder.

Your contact stays anonymous Your street address, phone, and email stay hidden from vendors until you award a company or you authorize that company in writing on PoolBid. Other bidders never receive your contact just because they quoted.

Do not hand vendors a back door Do not put your phone, email, or street in spec questions. The thread will hide that text. If you take a bid you received through PoolBid and hire that contractor off-platform to skip the marketplace, you breach these terms. The contractor still owes PoolBid the success fee on that work. We may close your project and refuse further listings.

Award You may start or decline an auction. You are not required to award the lowest bid. Awarding a contractor releases your contact to that contractor only, so they can perform the awarded work.

You keep the right to walk away before award. After award, your construction contract is with the builder — not PoolBid.
